Rua dos Bacalhoeiros

In this fantastic world in an old rope factory, the wood calls to mind the caravels that once sailed by there and moored on their way to the East. Rebuilt after the earthquake of 1755, it retains intact the unwavering faith in new navigators who pass by on the sardine route.
  • 18th century processional religious float, with a canopy, discovered in a private chapel in the Alentejo.
